Avara Lasmak is the starting hero for the Mezari. She also appears in the tutorial with slightly different attributes and the Science Efficiency 2 capacity rather than the Science Boost 2 capacity.
Avara Lasmak has had to make a number of difficult decisions recently - who to bring to the surface, how to get there, and whether or not to stay. By nature claustrophobic, it would take more than danger and starvation to drive her back underground. A mining engineer turned captain of the Mezari Gold Phalanx, she is prepared to face life on the surface armed with her favorite tools: A blasting drill, full body armor, and two calloused fists.
