The Generator Crystal is an Insignia, received for completing Chapter 4 of the epilogue quest. It must be equipped to a hero assigned to an army of 6 level 5 Settlers (or 6 level 5 Preachers, in the case of the Cultists) in order to complete Chapter 5 part 1 of the epilogue quest.
