Luxury Resources

From Endless Legend Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

Luxury Resources are resources which are used to provide bonuses ('boosters') to an empire.

They are obtained either by constructing Extractors on resource nodes found on the map, or by direct purchase from the Marketplace. Extractor construction is unlocked in specific Eras by technological research, whereas the ability to purchase resources from the Marketplace is unlocked by the Era II technology 'Imperial Coinage'.

Luxury Resources accumulate and the current totals are recorded in the Empire interface. Booster effects are manually activated through the Empire interface and stay active for 10 turns. The cost of booster activation scales with the number of cities in the empire.
