In ancient times, Auriga suffered from the dreadful cataclysms which almost destroyed it. The world recovered but is now showing signs of aftershocks, hinting at another oncoming cataclysm. These aftershocks are manifested in the form of radical seasonal changes, between only Summer and Winter.

Summer[edit | edit source]

Summer allows uninhibited movement for all units.

Winter[edit | edit source]

When winter arrives, life becomes more difficult. Each winter is more severe than the last. In each winter after the first, the effects are randomized. The effects of winter can be counteracted by the Cold Operator hero skill or the Vaulters' era 3 research, Winter Shelters.

Penalties for winters are listed below. These penalties are cumulative.
