:: I see. I don't see how having an account helps when IP serves as identification, but I've made an account now. I'm used freely editing wiki entries; it was surprising to see such strict moderators here. I'm assuming that I may edit the templates again - or are there any rules here I should know about?

:::I'm not trying to be overly strict, it was just that the entries you changed, and changed again, and changed again looked like potential vandalism (though also potentially legit). That's why i added some mild page protection (you can once more edit anonymously if that is your preference) limiting it to registered users. IP addresses are more often than not assigned via DHCP, so they are not typically a reliable way to identify contributors. If you IP address is fixed, that's an entirely different matter. — [[User:Game widow|Game widow]] <small>([[User_talk:Game widow|talk]])</small> 16:15, 7 June 2016 (UTC)

I'm entering and correcting hero stats. Many of their base stats are false; some of the false entries were my fault - i.e. the entered stats with equipment factored in, rather than actual base stats (as displayed in the marketplace). I'd rather change the wiki than make a .doc for personal use; it's more convenient.

However I've noticed that I've had my editing privileges suspended though (for The Forgetten page). I'm suspecting there's some funny rules with this wiki that I don't know about. :s

p.s. I haven't bothered making an account; also don't know if this is the proper way to reply to messages. I guess I'll leave it to other editors to fix that page.

Your edits seemed erratic, which is why i asked. You are not obliged to create an account, but it does make things easier. — Game widow (talk) 15:56, 7 June 2016 (UTC)
