Shadowbinder is a Sword exclusive to the Forgotten, received for completing Chapter 3 of their faction quest. It is unlocked simultaneously with Shadowbrand and Ziema Adya's second form, who is equipped with Shadowbrand and Shadowbinder by default. Due to the Shadowguard capacity, the weapon grants an additional +30% Defense if it is equipped along with Shadowbrand, making it most effective to equip this weapon on Forgotten heroes, who can take advantage of that bonus through the Dual Wield capacity.

Where the twin blade Shadowbrand cuts brutally, stabbing at an enemy's vulnerabilities, Shadowbinder swings gracefully, carving fluid arcs through air and flesh and bone. Forged in the dark with its counterpart on the Anvil of Onyo Iwe high in the Targadian Mountains, the blade has seen over a thousand winters. When used together, the grace of Shadowbinder improves the defensive abilities of its wielder.
